Sinclair Readford had reached the end of her rope, figuratively and literally. She hung out of the window of a whorehouse in nothing more than her unmentionables. To escape the disreputable establishment, the Eastern-bred lady had vowed to go to any length. However, when her fingers slipped and she plunged into the embrace of a ruggedly handsome cowboy, she wondered if she'd been saved or damned.

Jefferson McCloud had never had a woman fall out of the sky to land in his arms before. It was enough to turn a man into a lovesick fool. Especially when the woman was all long blond hair and soft white skin. He should have known immediately she'd be more trouble than the devil himself. But soon, the cowboy knew he'd ride to hell and back to earn the right to call the impertinent chatterbox his own.

RT Rating:
Crisp dialogue and enjoyable characters mark this lovely novel. The protagonists mature during their stormy relationship into a couple willing to express their love. In the midst of the romance the author deftly incorporates a suspense subplot.

Whistle Down the Wind Reviews

Passion for Pages

Sibelle Stone writes a top-notch romance that is fast-paced, complex and rich in both historical details, witchcraft lore and truly intriguing characters! A genuinely lovely and sexually suspenseful historical romance, Stone delivers in her book one of The Mystic Moon Series set in an England very physically dangerous for the female protagonist. The shift to a seafaring voyage and the Virginia Colonies of the early 1600s only offers more challenges – both physically and emotionally – keeping this reader turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next and rooting for Caitlin the whole way. The only disappointment I experienced with this novel is reaching The End far too soon, and having to wait for the next book in the series!

Whistle Down the Wind was a really great read. It definitely changed my opinion of historical romances – paranormal ones, at least. Four Quills.

Over a Cuppa Tea Reviews
If you’re looking for a paranormal historical book with fast-pace, then ‘Whistle Down The Wind’ by Sibelle Stone is the book that you’re looking for. The romance in is this book is not only enough to give you a white-hot orgasm one you flip the pages, but it’s intriguing as well. I love this book as the pace is really fast. The book is hard to put down too and I actually read this book twice even though I’m not really a fan of historical romance. I love how the author transports the readers from the modern world into the world of fantasy. The descriptions and the scenes described in the book is so vivid that I could have sworn that it is real.

The Book Maven
I loved this book. I really enjoyed all of the characters especially the sisters. I thought it was a good take on the witch hunts and the New World. I have never read a book that actually brought you to the New World and still incorporate the paranormal. I really look forward to the next book and Aelwyd’s story. She deserves a happy ending too. I hope it’s with who I think it will be, but not sure if that is possible. Overall, this was a very enjoyable book and I would highly recommend it for anyone who has read Lydia Dare’s books or Deborah Harkness’s books.
